Our school will be participating in Red Ribbon Week Oct. 22nd – 26th. Red Ribbon Week is traditionally recognized nationwide as a Drug and Alcohol Prevention Campaign. At Athlos we embrace our model of Healthy Body, Prepared Mind, and Performance Character to encourage all students to lead healthy lives. In light of Bullying Prevention Month in October, we are inviting Athlos families and the larger community to join us for Athlos Cares. Together with our community partners, we will offer resources on how to build a kinder community. This event will include fun family activities, reflect on character building as a tool to foster positivity, and offer information on how to recognize and combat bullying.

There will be a K-5 costume parade starting at 8:45 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to come to school in his/her costume ready for the parade. Students are allowed to stay in costume for the day, but must have athletic shoes so they can participate in some Halloween games! Parents will line up along the back field inside the fence line facing towards the school. Parents will enter through the playground gates, not through the school doors. For the safety of our students, parents will not be allowed to line up inside the school. Students will begin parading inside the school …
