Candido Abeyta

Candido successfully completed his studies at the University of Utah, earning a Bachelors degree in Music Education as well as a Masters degree in Jazz Studies Composition & Saxophone performance. Having wrapped up his masters degree, he dedicated himself to playing music professionally for different artists throughout the last 10 years.

Athlos Academy attracted Candido due to its emphasis on catering to students needs and fostering growth in areas that require development and learning. He aims to guarantee that each child possesses a voice and can participate in an atmosphere devoid of criticism and conducive to open learning.

Candido always looks forward to seeing his students and their excitement to learn, and one of his greatest strengths is his knack for identifying topics that strike a chord with his students, whether it be on a personal or cultural scale.
