About Ms. Haacke

Courtney Haacke has spent the last eight years in education teaching students from kindergarten through third-grade as a co-teacher. She also worked with the Special Education Department where she specialized in reading intervention. Most recently, Haacke has worked at Athlos Academy of Utah in public relations.

For more than 20 years, Haacke has also owned and operated a portrait studio. She photographs families, newborns, and weddings when she is not at Athlos. “Photography to me is capturing families and life events as they unfold.”

Favorite Performance Character Traits: Humility & Creativity

Haacke believes that all children are different and grow and learn at their own pace. “Having humility allows for growth and challenges a person to look within to change and grow from their mistakes,” she said. “Creativity is more than a word describing an attribute of an artist. Creativity allows a person to express who they are or how they feel using critical thinking and their imagination.”
