Enrollment Process

Thank you for your interest in Athlos Academy of Utah. We are a tuition-free, public charter school located in Herriman. We serve students in grades K–9 living in Herriman and the surrounding communities.

We are accepting enrollment applications for the current school and next school year in grades K-9.

OPEN ENROLLMENT

  • The open enrollment period for the 2023–2024 school year begins December 1, 2022.
  • For the best chance of enrollment, submit your student’s application before the enrollment period ends, and the lottery is held on February 23, 2023
  • If you submit your application after the enrollment ends, your student will be offered a seat on a first-come, first-serve basis.

WHO CAN ENROLL

  • Enrollment is open to new students entering grades K–9 living in Herriman and the surrounding communities.

LOTTERY

  • If there are more applications than available seats, a lottery will be held on February 23, 2023.
  • Students may still apply for enrollment after the lottery.

Athlos Academy holds an annual open enrollment period every year. Submitting an application makes your student eligible for a seat according to the school’s policy and state law; it does not guarantee your student a seat.

Athos Academy of Utah is held accountable to all state enrollment laws. According to the school’s enrollment policy, all applications for enrollment will be subject to a lottery admissions process (See Student Policy 5102 for more information).

Complete your child’s registration in PowerSchool.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

In addition to completing the online registration form, you must turn in the following required registration documents: child’s birth certificate, child’s current immunization records, proof of Utah residency, and a withdrawal form from the student’s previous school of attendance.  A vision screening is also required for Kindergartners and students new to Utah attending grades 3rd and younger.
