Dear Parents,
We are excited to announce that we will offer classes for two different certified technical education (CTE) tracks for the Jr. High elective courses. Students will be able to choose between Computer Science and Business/Entrepreneurship. Below you will find a short description of each track and the classes that will be offered at each grade level. Please read the information, select a track and then take the short survey below to let us know your preferred track.
Computer Science
In this pathway, students will participate in coding and learn how computers work.
Classes Include:
7th – Exploring Technology and Robotics
8th – Creative Coding
9th – Exploring Computer Science & Web Development
Business/Entrepreneurship
In this pathway, students will learn what it takes to start and run your own business.
Classes include:
7th – Exploring Business and Marketing
8th – Family and Consumer Science
9th – Interior Design or Fashion Design
