Welcome Back, Parents and Students,
I love this time of year. The excitement of beginning a new school year is felt around our school. The teachers are busy preparing their classrooms, while families are busy purchasing uniforms and school supplies. Even amid the excitement, there is also a bit of apprehension. Questions like who will be in my class and what this new school year will be like fill the minds of students and teachers alike. But the excitement surrounding the start of the new school year overwhelms the apprehensions.
This is my 28 first day of school as a professional educator but my first one at Athlos Academy. I love that the school year provides every student and educator with the opportunity to begin with a fresh start. We would love to meet each of you. The first opportunity is during back-to-school night, Thursday, Aug 17, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. New families are invited to the first hour for orientation to the school. Returning families may attend any time after 6:00 p.m. Please plan to join us.
I recognize that you have a choice on which school you enroll your student. I appreciate the trust you demonstrate in us by enrolling at Athlos Academy. Our school pillars for learning and the character attributes guide our instructional priorities and create a unique learning experience. I am always happy to visit with you to discuss any needs or concerns that may arise. Don’t hesitate to contact the office to schedule an appointment or drop by, and Mrs. Tonozzi or I would be happy to visit with you.
