Students at Athlos Academy are getting ready for Red Ribbon Week 2019 – this year’s theme is: Send A Message. Stay Drug-Free.

The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices. It is also a reminder that by staying drug-free, students are sending a message to themselves and others about how much they value themselves, their overall health, their community, and their future.

At school, students will engage in activities that promote a drug-free and healthy lifestyle. Please partner with us and discuss this message at home, at the dinner table, at family outings, and with friends and extended family.

October 29: BE ON A DRUG-FREE TEAM – Wear your favorite team gear

• Receive RR bracelet (receive reward Nov. 1 for wearing the bracelet all week)
• Classroom Poster Contest

October 30: LIVE RED – Wear as much red as you can

• Assembly with Detective Cutright and Sergeant Bell
• Sign pledge banner

October 31: TURN YOUR BACK ON DRUGS – Wear clothes backward

• Tie red ribbons on the school fence
