About Jordyn Rex
My name is Mrs. Rex! I am married to an amazing husband and have one fur baby named Winnie. I am from Utah and have lived here my whole life. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree at Western Governors University. I became a teacher because I believe in the transformative power of education and its ability to shape future generations. Witnessing students grow, overcome challenges, and achieve their potential fills me with immense joy and purpose. Initiative is a trait I deeply admire as a teacher because it embodies the proactive drive to take action, seek solutions, and continuously improve. In the classroom, students who demonstrate initiative are more engaged, motivated, and willing to take ownership of their learning. This trait not only fosters a dynamic and collaborative learning environment but also prepares students for future success by encouraging them to be independent thinkers and problem-solvers. Admiring and nurturing initiative in my students means equipping them with the confidence and skills to pursue their goals and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
