About Mallory Sandoval

Mallory graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. Prior to her involvement with Athlos, she spent six years providing support and guidance to individuals of all ages with disabilities, promoting productivity and happiness in their lives. Mallory strives as an educator to foster an everlasting passion for learning within her students lives, leading them towards independent and analytical thinking, all while immersing them in enjoyable yet demanding activities. Her joy lies in helping them nurture their individual interests and cultivating their unique approaches to thinking.

The prime principle of teaching to the whole child was what initially attracted Mallory to Athlos Academy; she appreciates how Athlos prioritizes every element of a childs needs and focuses on guiding them towards becoming well-rounded individuals.

Mallory’s enthusiasm for teaching at Athlos stems from the schools unwavering commitment to helping children thrive and become their ultimate selves. She is thrilled at the opportunity to combine her own teaching methods with Athlos Academys exceptional core values and curriculum in the classroom. She stands out as an educator due to her remarkable skill of establishing deep bonds with both her students and their families.

She has a knack for understanding her students and their needs, and she is able to provide them with firm yet clear guidelines and boundaries that help create an atmosphere of safety and security. In this way, her students understand what is expected of them, as well as what they can expect from her. She is also excellent at demonstrating her genuine care for her students, making sure to take into account their ideas, opinions, and learning styles.

Favorite Performance Character Trait

CURIOSITY

My favorite performance character trait is curiosity! Kindergarten is such an important time in a child’s development. It’s a time when much growth happens. During this time, their curiosity propels them to enjoy broader, more complex encounters. Furthermore, this invaluable trait helps them to figure out how our world works and what works for them as individuals.
